Job Summary

The Java Developer will support the implementation of Okta authentication for various Department of Justice applications. This remote position involves collaborating with DevOps teams to migrate legacy systems to Okta while ensuring high standards of technical design. Candidates must possess strong Java experience and be eligible for a Public Trust government clearance.

Job Details

Primary Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain software applications using Agile software development techniques. - Consult with business process owners, customers, users, and constituents to develop and analyze requirements. - Implement software application migration from current ADFS Identity Access Management (IDaM) to Okta. - Perform application testing and create/maintain application documentation, including migration plans, implementation plans, test plans, and user story updates. - Leverage DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy, and test applications. - Collaborate with project teams to ensure technically sound projects are completed on time and within budget. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field with 8+ years of related experience (or HS diploma with 12+ years). - Agile Software Development experience. - Java Software Development experience (JDK 1.8+), HTML & CSS, and Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE). - Experience with Web Services & Frameworks (REST, SOAP). - Proficiency in JSON, JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, React, Angular). - Database query skills (Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft T/SQL). - Experience with RHEL, API testing tools (SoapUI, Postman, JMeter), and RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS). - XML technology experience and integration with IDAM systems using SAML/XACML/SPML/SSO. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with customer interface experience. - US Citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
