Manager, Business Development
Job Summary
This role involves managing, mentoring, and onboarding a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) within the AMER region. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership and marketing teams to drive pipeline growth and optimize qualification processes. The position requires a focus on performance coaching and strategic alignment with regional sales objectives.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Train BDR team members to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities.
- Provide coaching and feedback in recurring weekly 1:1s to improve performance.
- Plan for hiring and onboarding new BDRs.
- Collaborate with Events and Digital teams on field events and targeted campaigns.
- Partner with Sales Development Leadership and Operations to improve opportunity management and qualification processes.
- Work with Sales VPs, Directors, and Area Managers to identify and develop key company accounts.
- Coordinate with Content, Marketing, and Product Marketing teams to develop effective outbound messaging.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for a technical product.
- Previous people management experience required; experience driving new logos is a plus.
- Experience managing teams working with Commercial accounts.
- Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
- Experience with sales operations and/or marketing automation software preferred.
- Understanding of B2B software, Open Source software, and the developer product space is preferred.
- Passionate about technology and willingness to learn GitLab and Git workflows.
