Bilingual Inbound Sales Specialist

### Position Overview At Trupanion, our Contact Center is powered by passionate Care, Sales, Retention, and Team Support Specialists who work together to deliver exceptional service. We're looking for people who are excited to educate pet owners and champion the value of protecting their pets. As a Spanish Bilingual Inbound Sales Specialist, you'll be on the front lines connecting with both English and Spanish-speaking pet parents. You'll engage with warm inbound leads through meaningful conversations, educating potential customers on Trupanion's coverage and helping them make informed decisions about their pet's care and protection. ### Schedule This role is scheduled based on coverage needs, with schedules published two weeks in advance. Team members work 40 hours per week across five days. Days off and shift times may rotate, including shifts as late as 8:00 PM Pacific Time. Candidates must be available for evenings and weekends. ### Work Requirements This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the US (excluding AL, CA, FL, GA, IL, NV & NY). A reliable, stable, hard-wired Ethernet connection (cable or fiber) is mandatory. Wireless, satellite, and mobile hotspots are not permitted. ### Responsibilities - Support both English and Spanish-speaking customers via phone and email. - Build genuine trust and rapport using a consultative approach. - Educate potential customers on the value and benefits of Trupanion coverage. - Utilize strong call control, active listening, and objection handling techniques. - Guide customers through the enrollment process while ensuring a positive experience. - Manage high inbound call volumes while balancing efficiency and sales goals. - Accurately document customer interactions in the CRM system. - Independently troubleshoot technical issues in a remote setting. ### Qualifications - Professional fluency in both Spanish and English (verbal and written). - 2+ years of successful sales experience in a high-volume B2C or inbound call center environment. - 1+ years of experience in a customer service role. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales goals. - Ability to handle high-volume interactions with empathy and professionalism. - Strong technology acumen and ability to navigate multiple platforms. - Must be able to obtain and maintain active Property and Casualty (P&C) licensing in all 50 states and applicable jurisdictions. ### Compensation & Benefits - Starting pay: $21/hour. - Eligibility for uncapped monthly bonuses based on performance. - Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) with a 4-year vesting schedule. - $1500 sign-on bonus for currently licensed candidates; training provided for unlicensed candidates. - Full medical, dental, and vision benefits at no cost. - Four weeks of paid time off and 9 paid float holidays. - Five-week sabbatical after five years of employment. - Free medical health insurance for your own pet.
