Job Summary
We are seeking a senior-level Agentforce Forward Deployed Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead complex AI agentic deployments. You will act as a strategic partner to design, develop, and implement bespoke AI solutions while mentoring junior team members. This role involves end-to-end technical delivery, from architecture and data configuration to optimizing AI agent performance for our strategic clients.

The Agentforce Forward Deployed Engineer will lead the development of sophisticated AI solutions, operating with deep technical mastery. You will serve as a hands-on leader, shaping technical strategy and ensuring successful outcomes for strategic clients by leveraging the Agentforce platform.
### Key Responsibilities
- **Hands-On Implementation**: Manage end-to-end technical delivery of complex AI solutions, writing critical code, configuring systems, and guiding junior team members.
- **AI Solution Development**: Architect and deploy intelligent agents and automated workflows using Large Language Models (LLM) on the Salesforce platform.
- **Custom Agent Engineering**: Design and build custom intelligent agents to meet unique business requirements and integrate with client ecosystems.
- **Data Lifecycle Management**: Design data models, build processing pipelines, and establish integration strategies to support advanced AI applications.
- **Technical Problem Solving**: Identify and resolve complex technical blockers across data integration, model deployment, and agent orchestration.
- **Innovation Advocacy**: Act as an expert in the Agentforce platform, providing field insights to influence future product enhancements.
- **Strategic Partnership**: Act as the primary technical advisor to client teams, translating strategic goals into clear technical requirements.
- **Debugging and Analysis**: Perform root cause analysis and performance optimization for complex system interactions.
- **Prototyping**: Lead rapid prototyping and minimum viable product (MVP) development to demonstrate capabilities and gather feedback.
- **Engineering Excellence**: Enforce best practices for code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.
### Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in hands-on, end-to-end delivery of scalable production solutions.
- Strong background in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
- Expert-level proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript, Java, Python, Apex).
- Experience with AI/LLM technologies, orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), and prompt engineering.
- Expertise in data modeling and enterprise data platforms (Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
- Significant experience with the Salesforce platform, including configuration and complex development.
- Demonstrated leadership in technical initiatives and mentoring.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
