Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities: - Involved with all aspects of software development, working to create and maintain the most reliable, secure, performant, and high throughput service by leveraging cloud technology. - Partner closely with product managers, product owners, software architects, and other stakeholders to iteratively turn high-level requirements into product enhancements. - Contribute to software design and architecture by leveraging cloud design patterns and injecting cloud expertise into the entire development lifecycle. - Hands-on software development for infrastructure that will perform at scale. - Implement unit, regression, and end-to-end tests. - Contribute to improvements in processes and deliverables to increase team effectiveness. - Document and present ideas and solutions accurately and thoroughly. - Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science. - 6+ years of software development experience building enterprise-level cloud services. - Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture and microservices. - Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS). - Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Typescript, Java, Python, Node.js, Go). - Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, NestJS, and Next.js. - Understanding of security principles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in AWS (including SOC-2). - Experience implementing and maintaining automated testing processes. - Experience in monitoring backend performance and implementing optimizations for scalability. - Experience working in an Agile process. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Significant experience with AI-powered development tools such as Claude code, Cursor, and Vscode copilot. - Familiarity with spec-driven development and agentic coding tools.
