Job Summary
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will act as a trusted advisor to Mid-Market prospects in North America, guiding them through DevSecOps digital transformation. You will lead technical discovery, evaluations, and proofs of value to align GitLab’s platform with business objectives. By partnering with sales teams and serving as the voice of the customer, you will drive platform adoption and influence product roadmaps.

Job Details
### Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation (including proofs of value) to demonstrate how GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets technical and business needs.
- Drive the technical evaluation process as the Directly Responsible Individual, including solution design, POC/POV ownership, workshop design, and technical components of tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Collaborate with Commercial Account Executives and regional sales teams to execute account strategies that support new customer acquisition and expansion.
- Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guiding them through digital transformation and enabling them to become GitLab advocates.
- Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices to improve ROI.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to Product Management, Engineering, and Sales by sharing feedback, use cases, and competitive insights.
- Maintain technical expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, and AI, creating reusable examples and best practice guidance.
### Requirements
- Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles involving solution design and evaluation.
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and the ability to discuss deployment, security, and operations.
- Ability to lead technical evaluations (POCs/POVs), contribute to audits, and design workshops.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both practitioners and senior decision-makers.
- Ability to build trusted relationships, listen with empathy, and act as a customer advocate.
